For those of you who have rooted your HTC Evo 4G and want to update your phone to the latest Froyo 2.2 release by HTC, the short wait is over, you can get the “rooted” HTC Evo 4G 2.2 update over at XDA developers.
I am actually gunning myself this morning to try this out, which means camera and 4G works fine on the Froyo 2.2, something I have been waiting for all these months!

For those of you who want to hack the HTC Evo 4G, HTC has officially released the Evo 4G kernel, meaning you can compile it yourself and do whatever the heck you want to it.
