Maker of the famous MikFroyo and MikG ROM for HTC Evo 4G has just released the MikVirgin ICS ROM for the HTC Evo 3D. I’ve always been a fan of XDA user aamikam’s ROMs and finally he’s got an ICS ROM you can be proud of.
In short, this ROM makes your stock Sense experience better in many ways including great performance and battery life. Try it out and let me know what you think of this ROM!

Here’s some great news for HTC Evo 3D owners, leaked ICS is out now! I don’t recommend flashing the leaked ICS (as it updates your HBOOT and is really for Virgin Mobile) but the good news is that Evo 3D ROM developers have already implemented missing features to their ROMs.
One of the best ICS ROMs right now for your HTC Evo 3D is the viperROM IC3D ICS ROM, which comes with everything fully working including 3G/4G WiMax/Camera/Camcorder and even your 3D camera/camcorder works.

Here’s a quick peak at the development of Newts One S ROM on the HTC Evo 3D, which brings you the goodness of Sense 4.0 and Ice Cream Sandwich. It’s still in beta stages so don’t expect a full-blown daily driver but you still do get a lot of things working such as 3G data, UI, and more.

Here’s how to root your HTC Evo 4G on HBOOT 2.18 with S-OFF!
Step 1. Check the Software number on your HTC Evo 4G. If you have 4.67.651.3 or later, this method will work. If you have an older version, try the easier root method, don’t need to do this.
Step 2. Take the battery out and back in. Then boot into bootloader by holding down Volume Down and Power button together.
Step 3. You should see that your phone says “LOCKED (OOW)

Here’s an updated method for downgrading your HBOOT 1.50 to 1.40 on your HTC Evo 3D. (older method here)
Step 1. Make sure you are on Software number 2.17.XXX.X.
Step 2. Take the battery out and in, then hold down Volume Down and Power button together for 5 seconds to get into bootloader.
