MIUI ROM for Rooted HTC Evo 3D!

miui-rom-evo-3d-2

MIUI is a great ROM with lots of customizable options such as hundreds of free themes, completely different UI from Android, and lots of cool stuff like DND app that can block your ex-girlfriend’s numbers.

I’ve tried MIUI ROM for other Android smartphones and I would have to say it’s great but perhaps not that polished for the Evo 3D (yet) as you lose 4G.

But for those of you who don’t mind losing 4G (perhaps you live in non-4G area) or you just want to give it a go, MIUI ROM has lots of neat features you might enjoy such as two-handed action t

WTSB Sense ROM for HTC Evo 3D!

wtsb-sense-rom

After trying out a ton of ROMs this week (that is why I haven’t posted often), I found a really great Sense ROM for the HTC Evo 3D with everything working.  I really like TweakedSynergy ROM but camera/camcorder was a bit buggy and wanted to really move back to a stock-like ROM.

The WTSB Sense ROM is one of the best stock-like Sense ROMs yet it’s been optimized fully, so you get a much faster speeds over stock without overclocking.

Synergy ROM is also good but it comes with a lot of features that I don’t need so I decided it was time for me to get ba

tweaked-synergy-rom-2

Couple weeks back we did review the Synergy ROM, which was quite fast and this week we have the “tweaked” Synergy ROM, which is even slightly a bit faster, getting 3805 on Quadrant.

Best of all, I can finally overclock to “stable” 1.836Ghz.  This ROM has lots of goodies like 5-column app screen, lots of extra apps, and more.

I really like this ROM a lot and it’s blazing fast, try it out and let me know what you think

Steel ROM for HTC Evo 3D!

steel-rom

Many people have been asking me lately that they like having a stock ROM and want to unroot. Well, there’s a ROM for that, the Steel ROM is pretty much stock but with enhancements like faster GUI, longer battery life, and updated with latest OTA software.

If you want to stay near stock as possible but with root, I highly recommend the Steel ROM, which the developer also updates very frequently, meaning you can flash newer versions without wiping everything when there’s OTA updates.

Best HTC Evo 3D ROM – Synergy ROM Review! [3500+ Quadrant]

best-evo-3d-rom

Best HTC Evo 3D ROM of the week? It is Synergy ROM, which got me consistent 3500+ speeds on Quadrant at 1.728Ghz overclock speeds.

Currently, this is probably the fastest ROM for the Evo 3D and you might want to give it a go if speed is your thang plus battery life is not too shabby.

Let me know what kind of quadrant speeds you get with this, thanks!

*Note – Currently those of you who rooted your phone using HTC method, you cannot flash a new kernel, meaning no overclocking but you can still flash this ROM.

How to Use OC Daemon on Viper ROM for Longer Battery Life with Overclock!

ocdaemon

For those of you who are on Viper ROM (for Evo 3D), did you know that there’s a “hidden” OC daemon inside the ROM?

OC daemon, as the name states, is a overclocking daemon, that you can use to control minimum and maximum clock(CPU) speed. SetCPU app can do that too but the OC daemon goes one step further and let you control the clock speed when your phone is in sleep mode.

By setting your clock speed to be much lower in sleep mode, you can save additional battery power during course of a day if you tend to not use your phone often.

Anyways, here&#

Senseless ROM for HTC Evo 3D!

senseless-rom

Just as the name implies, the Senseless ROM for the HTC Evo 3D comes with “senseless” UI, opted instead for AOSP (Android Open Source Project) vanilla UI. I know many of you like Sense UI but then also many of you like plain, strip-down Android UI, which in my opinion makes your phone a tad bit faster.

This Senseless ROM’s major feature is that at fresh boot you have nearly 600MB of free memory, allowing you to run more apps than any other app.

Of course the downside is that you lose all your Sprint apps and whatnot but maybe you might be looking fo
