I kee[p followingn all the steps to unlock the bootloader via every website i can find and all i ever get is nothing no movment no screen nothing.
c:\3d>fastboot boot boot.img

downloading 'boot.img'... OKAY [ 1.037s]
booting… FAILED (remote: not allowed) no matter what i try nothing can someone please help

Hey I flashed this rom and I can’t download anything and it wasn’t pre loaded with the Android market. Anyone else have this issue?

Okay, did this from my XP machine and my Windows 7 machine at work. Neither time did it work.

The main error I received was “Unable to CHMOD” and then a string of words…

help?

Make sure u downloaded the drivers correctly, or try putting ur phone on disk drive. I unistalled the drivers and reinstalled them and put my phone on disk drive mode and it worked!

Hi!

I tried to permatemp my Evo3D so I could create a wifi hotspot. I do not have internet at my house, because I’m too far from the “main” road. When I followed the steps, downloaded the links, and rand the CMD promp, every line that ran across the screen was “fail” or “failure.” I tried it twice, restarted the phone, and tried it again. Nothing happened and the phone was not “rooted.”

I’ve since restarted the phone, giving up on the idea of rooting my phone, and am now having problems I didn’t have before–I’m trying to figure out what I did wrong or what step I missed. A social networking application I use does not work anymore (well, the feed part doesn’t work–the rest does). And there were odd programs/apps installed that I had to uninstall: Terminal Emulator and SuperUser.

I have an Evo 3D, 2.3.4 Gingerbread. All the most recent updates have been installed.

I’m phone illiterate, so any help would be grateful.

I have tried every root that i can find. i am unable to get my evo4g rooted any help would be apprciated. i want to root for the wireless tether.

Ok, i see a lot of people are getting the same
“Your device: supersonic, with HBOOT 2.18.0001 is not supported at this time.”
that i’m getting when i type revolutionary.exe …. so could anyone please answer please???
