Well, it’s surprising as soon as permanent root was available for the Evo 3D, a slew of ROMs just decided to pop up including MikG 3D ROM.
This MikG 3D ROM features a bit of goodies plus the ability to USB tether and hacked Sprint hotspot. The Sprint hotspot doesn’t support 4G at this point but you can always install the free Android Wifi Tether app to get 4G tethering (I’ve confirmed this works and will have a video on it too.).

Anyone know why I cant watch youtube videos, it says “cannot play video” on the app and browser, just recently flashed the mikg rom on the evo 3d, can someone please reply soon this is very frustrating
I rooted my phone, left the ROM stock and I can’t watch YouTube either on the built in 4G or 3G radios, just my wifi, so rooting has messed something up.
I also cant watch youtube vidios sence i root my phone can some one help me fix the setting for that?
Newb question:
1) If I root, can I just keep the stock ROM and just “tweak” it how I want it (Overclock, remove bloatware, etc)?
2) I’m looking for a good resource for additional options for ROM’s, and if possible, a comparison of the various functions / features of the options available. Anything out there?

You can keep the stock with root but the stock kernal will not allow overclocking or wifi tether.
I have downloaded this several times and I never end up with a zip file.
Ok Ignore that. I’ve obviously been very lucky over the years because I just learned how to truly extract files. I have no idea how I got as far as I have doing what I’ve been doing. LOL
Is there a way to bring your text messages to your new ROM?
so no way is sprint going to bring up a charge for using hotspot right?
After installing this ROM, I noticed that I can’t send pictures thru testing anymore. Can someone help me ?
Another question. Can I remove all the files from my SD card now that I have got everything loaded and working?
Does anyone know where i can go to download the shotgun rom the extension to the steel rom
