For this week’s HTC Evo 4G LTE ROM of the week, check out the latest version of JellyBAM ROM with Android 4.2.2.

Based on three different ROMs AOKP, CM10.1, and ParanoidAndroid, the latest JellyBAM ROM brings you AOKP ROM Control (See full tutorial here on how to use ROM Control Settings), CyanogenMod stability, and ParanoidAndroid Hybrid settings for running your phone/apps in Phone/Tablet/Hybrid mode.

If you don’t have time to install many AOSP ROMs but you want to experience them all in one ROM, definitely check out JellyBAM ROM for this week(end) and do let me know what you think!

  2. TConway says:

Do you have s-off its slot harder to install certain Roms without it

    • hugo says:

I don’t have s-off. I used the rooting method on this site.

    • hugo says:

Do you have s-off? if you do how did you get it?

      • menD says:

USE THIS if you go into boot-loader you’ll see you’r probably s-on. you have to be s-off if your changing to android stock android ROMs-(w/o htc sense) you have to be s-off if you wanna change to senseless.. of you can use a app called flash img gui. (i do) get it here: http://goo.gl/T6GsJ

      • tigerstown says:

S-off is easy to get. Use unlimited.io website an just follow there directions this will give you permanent s-off an everything you flash is simple after you do there process off dirty racun you need to manually update your radio an firmware via boot loader only if your on the 2.09 boot. It the holy grail of HTC phone owners dirty racun s-off

I want to upgrade my htc evo 4g+ to any jelly bean or ics….please help!!!

  3. Tony Parker says:

Goto xda.com and find the evo lte forum and you will find it there.

  4. Jonathan Hastings` says:

You probably have to flash the image gui first, its easy, go to the appstore and pay a 1 for the gui image kernal. than you flash that , go to recovery and finish the rest and tada.

  5. machavelli says:

If anyone is having problems flashing CM 10.1, AOKP, PAC-man ROM, JellyBAM or any other AOSP Roms, this will leave your touch panel driver not working. In other words, if you haven’t followed the DirtyRacun S-OFF procedure using Ubuntu 12.04+, the touch panel drivers will not be flashed upon flashing the rom leaving you with a non working screen inside the AOSP rom, this can be easily fixed by reverting back to a stock or 3.16 based rom. After trying to get AOSP roms fully working for a day or two while being S-ON, I decided to use a Ubuntu 12.10 LiveCD and within about 45 minutes the whole process was over with. S-OFF allows the roms that rely on older touch panel drivers to work properly upon the first flash. If you’re having any issues at all with flashing, S-OFF first and save yourself a lot of hassle. Instructions can be at http://unlimited.io/jewel.htm, remember you MUST use Ubuntu 12.04+ (LiveCD is fine, LiveUSB is not) or the team will not offer you support if you brick your device, they also have an IRC channel for instant help if a problem should arise. However, this is highly unlikely, follow the guide exactly and the process should go smoothly.

i have S-off yet the touch screen still doesnt work. Do you mind helping me out here ?

  6. Devon says:

flashed it but the touch isnt responding

    • JoshCoshBuGosh says:

You updated your phone didn’t you? To the latest jellybean version with sense? If you did update or if your phone shipped with the latest version you will have to either get S-OFF with dirty racun or not use any AOSP based roms because the latest update from HTC implemented a switch where if you try to run AOSP roms it turns the touch sensor off. 🙁 Sorry dude. If you want to get S-OFF there are really no videos showing you how I had to research and do it myself, best thing I’ve ever done! I do however recommend that you create an UBUNTU live CD not USB and using that to gain S-OFF on your EVO LTE.

  7. Pete says:
