So after testing out bunch of ROMs, I decided to go install Sprint Lover’s ROM because we finally get full 4G speeds here in San Francisco and I wanted to take advantage of that.
For those of you who have rooted your HTC Evo 4G, it’s pretty darn easy to install, just download the zip file and put it on your root directory. Then just restart your phone by pressing the power button while holding down the volume down button.
The Sprint Lovers ROM doesn’t have a hacked Sprint Hotspot but it does come with the WiFi Hotspot which works just as well for free 3G/4G tethering.

What about HDMI for this Rom? Does it work?
I installed the latest version of this Rom and it wants to keep rebooting after only a brief period of being on. I cannot get back into clockworkmod recovery because the phone only reboots. It doesn’t mount the SD card for some reason either. So I can’t just flash a new rom from Rom Manager. I have deleted this Rom from the root directory of the phone so it won’t keep reinstalling. I have used factory reset from the Rom and cleared storage from the bootloader. I had the Evo Deck Rom on the phone previously and after clearing storage now I get the “android” word instead of the HTC quietly brilliant boot. But, when the phone finishes booting I still have the Sprint Lovers Rom. Any Ideas?
