installed it when i go to restore it doesnt show any of my backups from amon ra v2.3 i’m guessing this isnt compatilble, gotta start from scratch?

    • Tim J says:

nvm just read on xda that they aren’t compatible….due to the new img size, which apparently this recovery cuts it down in half the size of what amon ra did.

Very very nice. All the same features as the others with some extras. Touch works really well. I thought for sure I was going to where out my buttons on my 1.5 year old EVO. I did a back up but have yet to try a restore. First impression is a 9.9 out of 10 Only because I don’t much care for the look of it, but that means very little to me compared to functionality.

  5. Tim J says:

i used this for about a week, and decided to switch back to amon ra v2.3. the problem was that it took about 1-2 minutes to load every time i went to recovery. amon only takes about 5-10 seconds. I’ll STICK WITH AMON FOR NOW!

  6. KirKh420 says:

tried flashing this… it seems to be incompatible with Revolutionary CWM 4.0.1.4… just says installation aborted. Revo is pretty good and ill think ill just stay with it

If you have revolutionary from h-boot 2.18 s-off guide just un-zip this file into your root folder and flash your recovery with the .img file

I have a question for you. I have the evo 4g on sprint want to flash over to straight talk but don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it. want to try it myself. anyway you can help people out with a guide maybe?

    • HTC Evo 4G Hacks says:

Evo 4G can’t be used on Straight Talk. Evo 4G = CDMA/no SIM slot, straight talk uses GSM/SIM slot.
