Did you know that you can now use your HTC Evo 4G as a wireless multi-touch keyboard?
This is going to be great to use with your tiny netbooks or when your computer keyboard breaks for some reason.
Step 1: Download and install RemoteDroid from Android Market on your EVO.
Step 2: Download the companion application and unzip it onto your computer. Double-click the .jar file to run it.
Step 3: Launch RemoteDroid on your EVO, enter the IP address assigned to you when you double-clicked the .jar in the previous step, and press the Connect button.

u need to connect to a network so that it will work,need to turn on the wifi on the EVO.
mines not working either
i hate touchpads…all about hardwired mice!!!@!!! no lag, no batteries to replace!!!

Great find!! Love this app. Even better with wifi at work and having the RemoteDroid server autostart on users machines and then messing with their mice!
Works great on the Evo!! All i need is for this to work while using the Swype keyboard and that will be my ultimate satisfaction while using this software. other than that Good Job and thanks!!!!

There is an app on the market called unified remote. its free and it works perfectly, and it does the same thing. and the window can be minimized and can run in the background of your pc.
