HTC Evo 3D Specs!

So, you’ve probably heard, if not, the next-generation HTC Evo is coming, the HTC Evo 3D!

What’s the difference between the HTC Evo 4G and the new Evo 3D?

Let’s find out.

The HTC Evo 3D comes with THREE (yes, you read that right) cameras, TWO 5-megapixel back-cameras for taking 3D images/videos (or regular), 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting.  According to rumors, it’s capable of recording in 2D 1080P or 3D 720P.  This will the first phone introduced in the U.S. that will be able to record 3D videos (as a phone!)

That’s not all folks, the HTC Evo 3D will be the first Android smartphone launched with a dual-core 1.2Ghz processor, that’s the “fastest” CPU on the market when Evo 3D is introduced later this year.

The form factor for the new HTC Evo 3D will be pretty much the same except there’s rumors that it will indeed be lighter than the original HTC Evo 4G.

Boy, I am excited, check out the full specs of this beastly HTC Evo 3D:

  • CPU: 1.2 GHz dual-core processor
  • Memory: 1 GB RAM
  • Screen: 4.3-inch QHD 3D screen, 540×960 pixels resolution

    and the price is ?

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so jealous. I purchased the Evo a week after it hit the shelf and than it was back ordered for 2-3 months. Someone stole it not 3 weeks later. I called all the Sprint Stores in the area and time them that someone was probably going to attempt to turn on my stolen phone. Instead of this manager in one particular store doing the right and just thing, he told the guy that the phone was stolen and that if he brought it in that the manager would have to take it. So the guy held it for awhile and called customer service and had them turn it on for him and told them that the owner sold it to him. That’s WHAT THE MANAGER OF A SPRINT STORE TOLD HIM TO DO. Are you kidding me????? Sprint never took blame for it and Asurion denied me my claim for another one. Yea right. I bet. Now Sprint has a $700 unpaid bill because of why?????? Either way. Must have been a black gang affiliation of some sort as I was in Springfield, IL where there are a lot of troubled people and they must have known each other. Have fun with your new phone Black Panther as I have not only one Evo, but waited for it to arrive and what happened? I never got it. Isn’t that some Shit? Thanks Sprint for making it up to me. Because now I have two!!!!!!

  3. Adam says:

Put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!!!!!

  4. Ismael says:

If you didn’t report it stolen to customer service, so they can put the claim in right away (or at least before someone else activates it), it’s your own fault. Asking a store to be on the look out doesn’t hold much wait as far as legitimately wanting to keep and protect your phone. The store doesn’t represent the insurance company, police or even the customer service departments at Sprint. They’re there for sales.

    No kickstand????????

  7. Larry Johnson says:

I hate 3d movies, pictures…. so I will not be upgrading. I will be looking at the new sprint tablets though.

  8. Tyler says:

They removed the kickstand because they realized people use cases on their phones which interferes with the balance. They have already announced they have made a case with it’s own kickstand that’s coming out with the phone (not included, just same time). Looks really nice too with matte black finish and a WIDE brushed steel kickstand.

  9. Brandon says:

they’re releasing a cover with a built in kickstand.

  10. JAHSHYN says:

WHY IS THA 3D EVO ONLY 3G SPEED? IS THE REGULAR EVO GONNA BE FASTER THAN THE 3D?, IF SO ILL KEEP THE REGULAR 1 FOR THE SPEED..

  11. Tom says:

Adam . . . nobody asked or cares about you tale of woe. YOU need to be smarter. The QUESTION was what do you thing about the HTC 3D specs. No more. No less.

  12. Tom says:

Jahshyn . . . the specs list “Network Data: 3G/4G speed and WiFi”. You must have missed it.

  13. Choco says:

Help, can anyone call me or send me an email and walk through making some changes to my HTC EVO. I will greatly appreciated.
    Thanks guys.

  15. Chloe says:

Wondering when it will come out? I’m looking for the Evo 4g, but thinking should I wait for the 3D come out and get it or just get the 2D for now?….Any advice??…

  16. CARRIE says:

well lett me start by telling u the only reason im with sprint is beacuse i ADORE my evo…. i fought with them for the past 48 due to them selling me a WRONG charger for my phoen then making me buy extended battery saying that was my problym… no all along my evo was broke and they got me for 200… so not only have i paid 2k in the past 12 ms in sprint phones retail price great customer… the GM for sprint not only sold me the wrong charger but then REFUSED to correct the fact that it completely FRIED my damn phone… after 48 hours and many threats to sue due to burns from the phone exploding the finally waived my deductuble and sent me over night a new phone… ppl that is y companies get sued all i wanted was my phone fixed for an error not caused by me and they refused to take the responsibility to fix this… needless to say i have a brand new evo a brand new extended battery and no bill for the next 6 months… IN THE FUTURE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE EVO OR THE NEW EVO NO MATTER HOW COOL IT IS this is the 3rd time my phone exploded from normal use … there is a full unbreakable case as well as not even a scratch and for that to happen i think sprint SUX BIG ONES AND THE EVO IS NOTTTT WHAT IT IS CRACKED UP TO B…I BOUGHT THIS DAMN THING THE DAY IT HIT THE STORES IN MY CITY… THINK N SAY WHAT U WANT BUT FULL WARNIGHT.. TERRIBLEEEEEE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM SPRINT AND ALL OF THEYRE EMPLOYEES HAVE THERYRE HEADS UP THEYRE ASSES… THATS REAL IF U CAN GO TO AT&T OR VERIZON DO SO BY ALL MEANS… DAMN EVEN BLUE WIRELESS IS BETTER THAN THIS.. JUST SAYIN

  17. CARRIE says:

o and just to go along with that ITS BULLSHIT I HAVE TO PAY FOR 4G SERVICE AND NOT ONLY IS IT NOT AVALIABLE IN MY CITY BUT NOT EVEN AN ESTIMATED DATE WHEN IT WILL BE!! BULL SHIT

  18. 007 says:

WOW!!!to all of u that had bad experience…lost phone, stolen phone, blow up phone…it sucs yes, but “U” have to do “your homework”, get insurance!,ask the right questions!,talk to the most advanced tech. geek in the store!, seek stre.mngr. to make sure if in doubt!!!,AND get names, not all sales people in any store has knowledge of all…I have the evo, I love it and waited to get it, yet had to trade it in 3x’s(dropped phne on cement last time, cracked screen and all,…”lucky I had screen protector”). Had no problems with insurance replacement, go FedEx!. Like all businesses there’s good/bad, yet “Sprint” has the best rates. As for paying for 4g, “U” knew that going in……good luck to all……………….007

  19. yungcowtipper says:
