The Express ROM for HTC Evo 4G!

For this week, check out The Express ROM for HTC Evo 4G, which comes with “landscape” Sense 3.0 launcher (yes it rotates, I forgot to show you that in the video). It’s a very smooth/fast ROM with full Sense 3.0 and 4G working. (I think this is one of the only Sense 3.0 ROMs with 4G working.)

If you have been looking for a fully-working Sense 3.0 ROM, give this ROM a try and let me know what you think!

sense4.0endeaver3drom-htcevo3d

What’s exciting coming to HTC smartphones soon? That would be Sense 4.0 infused with ICS. Well, that’s what the new HTC One series smartphones will be coming with. But you don’t have to wait until the HTC One X is available to try out Sense 4.0. Luckily, developers have gotten hands on Sense 4.0, have a working ROM going for us.

Although the Endeavor 3D ROM doesn’t have important things working like 3G/4G/Wifi, it does give you a full Sense 4.0 experience on ICS. In my first 10 minutes playing with it, I kinda love it. I like the fact tha

AOKP ICS ROM for HTC Evo 4G!

aokp-ics-rom-htc-evo-4g

For those of you who need ICS “right now”, you might want to just give the AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) ICS ROM a try for your HTC Evo 4G. Of all the ICS ROMs out there, this might be the most stable/usable ICS ROM. Although 4G WiMax isn’t working and the front-camera, the AOKP ICS ROM is otherwise a great ROM you can use as daily driver.

Other than that, there’s ROM Control settings in system settings menu that allows you to fully customize the UI and even overclock your Evo 4G. (Yes, this is probably the first overclockable ICS ROM f

blue-gene-rom-htcevo4g

Recently, I’ve been searching for not the latest and best but just a simple ROM that works fast and gets great battery life. I think I might have found that simple ROM, the Blue Gene ROM is a really simple ROM that’s fast and great daily driver. What I find good over other ROMs is that this ROM isn’t pretty with its older Sense UI but pretty efficient as doing everyday things like talking on the phone, browsing the web, and gets great 3G/4G signals.

So, if you are looking for a simple ROM, give this Blue Gene ROM a try, you will like it.

flashimagegui-htcevo3d-12

For those of you who want to install kernel/ROMs on your rooted HTC Evo 3D with HBOOT 1.50, you would have to launch Recovery from fastboot in order to flash kernels.

Well, that requires a connection to your computer but there’s a better way to do it without your computer by using the Flash Image GUI app. ┬áThis app allows you to install kernels then reboot into your Recovery to flash the ROM.

Step 1. First, download FlashImageGUI.apk and install it using a file browser app such as ES File Explorer.
