For those of you who want to try out beta version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM for HTC Evo 4G, you might want to try the Kings ROM.  There’s a lot of things that don’t work right now including 4G, which kinda sucks but for early birds, you can give it a go.

htc-evo-shift-4g

HTC Evo Shift 4G is now available on Amazon for $149.99.  I am a bit hesitant to buy one as it will be bringing my monthly phone bills to an all-time high but maybe I will get one.   Arr….

HTC Evo Shift 4G Coming Soon!

htc-evo-4g-shift

Although not completely official yet, this spyshot of a leaked RadioShack ad shows that HTC Evo Shift 4G will be available for $149.99 perhaps starting in early January.

What does the Shift 4G bring?  There’s rumors that it might have a dual-core processor, which would be awfully nice but the big thing here is the QWERTY keyboard on the Shift 4G.

That would certainly make the Evo Shift 4G the next big thang, what do you think?

sprint-lovers-rom

So after testing out bunch of ROMs, I decided to go install Sprint Lover’s ROM because we finally get full 4G speeds here in San Francisco and I wanted to take advantage of that.

For those of you who have rooted your HTC Evo 4G, it’s pretty darn easy to install, just download the zip file and put it on your root directory.  Then just restart your phone by pressing the power button while holding down the volume down button.

The Sprint Lovers ROM doesn’t have a hacked Sprint Hotspot but it does come with the WiFi Hotspot which works just as well for fr
