Blue Gene ROM for Rooted HTC Evo 4G!

Recently, I’ve been searching for not the latest and best but just a simple ROM that works fast and gets great battery life. I think I might have found that simple ROM, the Blue Gene ROM is a really simple ROM that’s fast and great daily driver. What I find good over other ROMs is that this ROM isn’t pretty with its older Sense UI but pretty efficient as doing everyday things like talking on the phone, browsing the web, and gets great 3G/4G signals.

So, if you are looking for a simple ROM, give this Blue Gene ROM a try, you will like it.

Warm TwoPointThree ROM for Rooted HTC Evo 3D!

Here’s another ROM that a lot of people have told me they like a lot, the Warm TwoPointThree ROM for rooted HTC Evo 3D.

This ROM is based off Sense 3.0 and Android 2.3.4 and comes with app drawer button on the left, phone button in the middle, and browser button on the right (which you can customize).

Battery life is pretty good on this ROM and give it a try if you have been looking for new ROM for your Evo 3D.

Want a really fast ROM for your Evo 3D with the best battery life? We did review Viper ROM months back but here’s an updated review of the Viper Redline ROM, which comes with everything like before but better and faster.

How to Install Kernel/ROM on HBOOT 1.50 for HTC Evo 3D!

For those of you who want to install kernel/ROMs on your rooted HTC Evo 3D with HBOOT 1.50, you would have to launch Recovery from fastboot in order to flash kernels.

Well, that requires a connection to your computer but there’s a better way to do it without your computer by using the Flash Image GUI app. This app allows you to install kernels then reboot into your Recovery to flash the ROM.

Step 1. First, download FlashImageGUI.apk and install it using a file browser app such as ES File Explorer.

FreEvo 3D ROM for Rooted HTC Evo 3D!

Recently, I’ve been trying many different ICS ROMs and honestly without my 4G working, I find it hard to use my phone to tether, which is one of the coolest features about my Evo 3D.

Anyways, I did go back to Android Gingerbread and found a really good/simple ROM that gives me great 3G/4G signals, performance, and battery life.

MikG ROM 3.0 for Rooted HTC Evo 4G!

Still looking for a good ROM on HTC Evo 4G? Well, here we go back at it with MikG ROM, this time with the updated version 3.0.

The MikG ROM has always been very good for us HTC Evo 4G users (my all-time favorite) and with version 3.0 you get lots of goodies including MikTweaks app, which I find it handy in turning my battery bar to show percentage and also my signal bar to show dB levels.

As far as everything else, MikG is smoother/faster than ever, highly recommended ROM for those of you who need everything working.

Jaredthegreat ICS ROM for Rooted HTC Evo 4G!

This is the Android ROM marathon week, another great ICS ROM to try for the HTC Evo 4G is the ICS ROM by user Jaredthegreat at XDA. This ROM is a very good ROM that can give you full ICS experience along with slight overclocking (if you use SetCPU).

For those of you who can’t wait for the official ICS update on your HTC Evo 3D, you might just want to give the ICS Deck e3D ROM a try, a fully-working ICS ROM (without camera/4G) built from Android 4.0.3 sources.
