Simply copy over the leaked Netflix APK file below, copy over to your Evo 4G or 3D, then install it!

How to Stream HULU on your HTC Evo 4G!

About 9 months back, you were able to stream HULU on your HTC Evo 4G simply by changing your browser’s UA String to “Desktop”. Well, that hack has been blocked off by Adobe Flash Player but guess what, we now have a hacked Flash Player that can let you stream HULU again on your HTC Evo 4G!

To do this, you need to have Flash Player 10.3 installed on your HTC Evo 4G, un-install it, then install the modified Flash Player 10.3.

And when you reboot, you will lose the ability to play on HULU so you simply need to un-install and install the modified

Speedy Shift ROM for HTC Evo 4G!

Speedy Shift ROM is a “port” from the HTC Evo Shift to the Evo 4G, it’s quite nice with everything working out of the box. Now, there’s so many great ROMs to choose from, it’s driving me nuts but I will have an overview of all the “best” Gingerbread ROMs for the Evo 4G once I get through all of them.

So far, this one, MikG, and Ti-X are my favorites but who knows, there’s more ROMs to try.

This Speedy Shift ROM also comes with a hacked Sprint Hotspot app, meaning you can get free Hotspot without paying Sprint twice fo

UPDATE: Gingerbread root is HERE! So, you’ve unrooted your Evo 4G yesterday and installed the new official OTA Gingerbread? Well, I did and seems like the rooting method for Android 2.2 isn’t working on the Gingerbread.

HTC Evo 4G Official Gingerbread Review!

So I unrooted my Evo 4G and installed the new Gingerbread update. The official Gingerbread does come with goodies like LCD brightness control “finally” working and camcorder working flawlessly.

Of course, the speed of the new Gingerbread is rather slow, I am getting about 12-13 on Linpack, whereas I was getting near 45-60 on custom ROMs.

Best route for anyone on custom ROMs?

You don’t have to unroot and install the new Gingerbread. Instead, just flash the kernel and radio (from the official Gingerbread) to your custom Evo ROM. Make sure to

HTC Evo 4G Gingerbread OTA Update!

For those of you with stock HTC Evo 4G, you should be getting a Gingerbread OTA Update like as we speak. For those of you on custom ROMs, you can unroot your Evo 4G (takes 5 minutes), then do a software update. Of course, there should be a bunch of ROMs updated with the Gingerbread OTA update in the next couple days so you can wait to get those updates.

I am in the process of unrooting my phone as we speak and installing the new update so will have a video review of the new stock Gingerbread Evo ROM

Leaked Virus ROM with Sense 3.0 UI for HTC Evo 4G!

For those of you who want to take a peak at what’s coming up soon with the HTC Evo 4G, there’s a leaked ROM out there with Sense 3.0 UI, which is dubbed “Virus ROM” (a developer made it flashable). Anyways, I tried this ROM and it’s pretty good, I like the new Sense 3.0, which has a better feel to it.

Everything is working except the camcorder and some of the icon doesn’t show up but other than that, it’s usable and you can give it a try too. UPDATE (6/26/11): Everything is working as of version b.1.3 except HDMI mirroring, t
