I have an Evo 4G LTE rooted with S-off. Using MeanBean 3.09 and have had good luck. Cyanogen 10.0 had some issues and testing 10.1. Question I have is do ROMS have to be for a specific phone or can ROMS from other models be used?

  7. Sunny says:

Hey check this out dudes! I had the latest jellybean with s-on and hboot 2.09. My phone was rooted and boatloader unlocked. I wanted s-off of course and my only option with hboot 2.09 was DirtyRacun, BUT! I have Vista 64 bit ughh, this is what I did: I follow the babyracun steps to the letter, but I couldn’t run RabiesShots because of my 64 bit os, instead at this point with Ruu.zip flashed and still with twrp recovery I ran facepalm and then when too bootloader and guess what I saw Dudes????? S-off and supercid 222222222! Hope this helps someone.

  8. Sunny says:

for anyone using facepalm if you get error 99 unknown fail just do about 4 full reboots and start over

  12. Nick says:

If you are having trouble with the ROM download GUI Flash ROM, downgrade TWRP to and try again. Worked for me as I was running the latest TWRP, S-ON, HTC Unlocked and Rooted. After the downgrade of TWRP flash ROMs with GUI Flash, if you google it you will find a free version on XDA

If you are S-Off you should be good to go, don’t use Goo Manager, it might be that, just install ROMs manually by using TWRP or CWM.
