So, you’ve been waiting for Jelly Bean ROM on your rooted HTC Evo 4G LTE?

Well, the long wait is finally over, you can try codefireX CM10 Jelly Bean ROM based off CM10 Android 4.1.1.

The good news? Everything seems to work out of the box including camera, camcorder, 3G/4G (4G LTE should be working but I don’t get 4G LTE in my area), bluetooth audio, Netflix, etc…etc…

This could be a potential daily driver for your 4G LTE and I think it’s stable enough to do so at this point. But as always, there can still be bugs so just make a backup of your current ROM before trying this ROM so you can always go back.

Give it a go and let me know what you think!

I still have no voicemail app and I’ve missed some important work related voicemails. Also, and this is quite important, this morning there was an emergency in my neighborhood, and I attempted to call 911 unfortunately all my attempts to do so didn’t work. The call would not connect and it was dropped. It was not a service issue because my mother’s phone is also on my account and I made the call from her phone just fine. The 911 issue needs to addressed right away, but the voicemail issue is also an annoyance at this point that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Did you flash the new kernel before you installed the rom?

      • Dan says:

sorry, my issue dosen’t pertain to the ROM. I rooted this phonr a year ago and today it won’t get past the splash screens. none of the fastboot options seem to help. i tried recovery (reboot), bootloader, reboot bootloader. if i choose restore in recovery, will i lose my data back to that day or is it just the OS gingerbread

        • Dan says:

Sir Dog Milk, I found a blog that said it never hurts to clear the dalvik cache. I did and my phone booted up. I quickly made a back up to the phone with Revolutionary CWM v When I get to my PC I’ll try to make another.

why my phone keep blinking on and off

No clue off the top of my head, how long have you been using the ROM? If it’s a fresh install, did you use Flash GUI to load the kernel first? Also, check out the JellyBam 7.4.0 rom for the EVO LTE, it pretty sick.
