I have flashed every rom out there. I love this rom. Everything seems to work but the camcorder other then that its good in going to stick with it for a while. Another good ROM is the updated nitrous ROM v1.6.3 that’s been my daily driver over clocked. Everything works Anyone looking to update it just Google it.

      re: HTCEvo4G/JellyBeanROMs/MazWoz/

I am not getting Bluetooth to work on this version of the ROM. Phone can’t scan devices or have other devices pick up phone. Any Ideas???

      • Michael says:

        I’m getting the same problem

      • Gary says:

I discovered that there was an easy fix! Using Root Explorer or some other file manager that will allow read-write access to the system, delete the file “/etc/bluetooth/bt_vendor.conf” and reboot the phone.

  2. Tim says:

I have one problem I’ve noticed. Whenever a call is disconnected, I get a message “Unfortunately, the process has stopped”. If I disconnect by pressing end call, it seems to be OK. In the case of the app quitting, no call info gets logged in call history.
I did factory reset and installed a second time. Still get same message.

  3. rAshad says:

looks real good, but my camcorder isnt working. i didnt c that as one of the mishaps. what do i need to do?

    • Jake says:

Ya it said the camcorder had issues on xda forums. Its the 4th beta test and so far the new jelly bean is showing better progress the ICS. I never could get a working ICS they always had problem that made it hard much to use..

  4. rAshad says:

    does the wifi tether work?

  5. Julian says:

Hi. Same results as Mike, no Bluetooth. Otherwise, great build.

  6. Jay says:

I tried to flash this rom and all I am getting is the Android man jumping up an down. No load… Can someone please advice me of what I have done wrong? Thanks

    • pete says:

i had the issue with the jumping android… finally just pulled the battery… did a factory reset (which i had forgotten to do the first time), then reflashed the rom, gapps, and fixes… and then it came up fine.

My camcorder however does not work… any fixes? Also, cannot seem to find a setting to have the camera save to SD card… any help? Thank you! very much enjoying it.

  7. John says:

Great ROM, I’ll stop looking for another one hen they fix the bluetooth and video bug. My favorite part which is what I’ve been looking for is the ADW launcher cooked in.

  8. Nigel Wilson says:

I Did Everything But Will Not Load. I’m Stuck On Black Screen And Taking Forever To Load.

  9. Jay says:

Does this Rom support boot animations? I would really like to replace that jumping android.

  10. Top_Rom_N_Test'er says:

Same problem with Bluetooth, does Adobe flash player work with this? I tried Opera mobile, and nothing played. I did find a solution for the camera, Camera Fx works good with this ROM,but you have to pay for it in play store.Oh yeah,,,, I’m also having problems with DSP Manager and Apollo, DSP doesn’t work on mine… Otherwise! Love It!!! Thanks! Maz…

  11. Brandon says:

Well i had to wipe the system to be able to flash this rom and i still cant get the gps fix to flash no matter what i do it just says failed. not a big deal to me, i have the htc evo 4g lte as my daily, so my old evo is just my toy.

    • droidmonster says:

To get GPS fix to work you need to download from PC then place on SD. Not directly to to phone. I got stuck with the same problem.

  12. Jay says:

I’m having some trouble with video playback in browser. Seems to glitch and pause and eventually crash. Any solutions for this? I’m already running flash 11.1. Any help?

Also the camera tends to do the same time to time. Although it does actually take the picture.

  13. buttachuck says:

How do we get voicemail for the sprint account?

  14. Crossman says:

Same issue with Bluetooth. Phone can’t detect devices. Otherwise the ROM is working well.

  15. Gary says:

Bluetooth. Has anyone gotten Bluetooth to work? It searches for devices but never makes a connection. I’m hoping there’s a fix somewhere.

  16. james.evo says:

Is their a working WiFi tether for this ROM

  17. droidmonster says:

I’m having issues with pinch to zoom. It keeps jumping back to before I zoomed in. I have to touch the screen before each zoom in for it to stay.

  18. james says:

camera and gallery no works grrr! and how do i get rid of bar at top in screen google search with mic i do not need it

  19. McKenzie says:

In having trouble with uploading videos and pictures on instagram it feels freezing on the pictures and crashing in the videos also the talk text text keeps crashing, need help any suggestions???

  20. Tom Cunningham says:

“To install, reboot into recovery, do data wipe/factory reset, install ROM, install Gapps, install GPS Fix, then reboot!”
Does this mean you can drag the zip files onto the device in usb mode and just reboot? No command line or Fastboot stuff? Just copy, drag and reboot?

Just want to update my old EVO so my son can use it as a portable gaming device. Don’t need a camera or anything else… Just Google Play store.

  21. EzMobile says:

So is the bluetooth fix coming anytime soon or should I upgrade my phone and finally kill my evo 4g?

  24. Darryl says:

Hi I just downloaded the ROM and its working well except for the video. It doesnt work at all, it always crashes and I cant post a video on istagram. Please help! 🙁

  25. Jim J. says:

Sooo…. I decided that there was far more to gain than lose by rooting my phone for the first time. I would not consider myself a IT or tech guy, but I know a little about computers, but less about cellphones, and smartphones in particular. But hows a guy to learn, unless he wings it, right? To my surprise, after a little research and a couple nights of some late-night reading and testing/probing my phone, I successfully rooted my device, the HTC EVO 4G. I was delirious! So lets find some ROM’s shall we, I tried to flash a couple, but I must not have done it right, because I got nothing, but a lock screen, and no idea how to get around it. Just as I was about to get discouraged, and give up, I found your ROM, the MazWoz Android 4.2.1 ROM for HTC Evo 4G. The page told me to download and install three zip files, and in what order, I followed it exactly, and WOW! I now have Android 4.2.1 on my little ole out-dated EVO. So stoked. Thanks so much. I appreciate the effort you and others have made, to help the people who can’t or don’t do it for themselves. I look forward to finding some others soon. Thanks again!!

  26. Jon says:

Great ROM! its actually my very first time doing this but i had some experience with the system so that helped. Really glad i choose this one. Had no problems except for camcorder but that was previously stated. only other thing was there is some noise in the mid-tones while playing music. i have really sensitive headphones though. Kinda just solved it by switching from stereo to mono but its not really a big deal. other than that its great and im really looking forward to more. If anybody has suggestions for other ROMs i would love to hear them. 😀

    • Jon says:

also i just now discovered that configuration for daydream mode just stops when selected. not very important but more of an fyi for anybody who didnt know yet 🙂

  27. Anthony says:

I installed this yesterday and really enjoy it. I don’t have phone service and just use the wifi with textnow installed and use Skype a lot. The only problem I have had is the front camera doesn’t work and since I use it to Skype, this is a problem. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

  28. Anthony says:

And I understand that ICS Roms don’t really have dual camera support yet, but I would be happy if I could just switch it to the front one for now.

  29. Gerald Leggett says:

Downloaded and installed and it works great but for one thing. The HDMI out does not work. Is there anything I can do to get this to work? Thanks
