CM10 ROM “Gangnamstyle” for HTC Evo 3D! [Sprint]

For those of you who want to experience latest Android 4.1.2 and pure Google Android, check out CM10 “Gangnamstyle” ROM for your Sprint HTC Evo 3D. Pretty much everything working out of the box (except for 3D camera), you will be able to enjoy the latest Android 4.1.2 along with Photo Sphere Camera from Android 4.2.

Surprisingly, 4G WiMax also works on this ROM (although you cannot see the signal bars) so it can certainly a daily driver for those of you using 4G constantly.

Energy ROM for Rooted HTC Evo 4G! [Sense 3.5]

For this week, let’s go back in our Time Machine and take a look at the last release of Energy Gingerbread ROM, which comes with Sense 3.5. Loaded with a ton of features like Energy tweaks, Sense 3.5 UI/camera, App2SD, and surprisingly is faster than expected. I think this is one of the coolest ROMs you can get for the Evo 4G if you want some of the latest Sense 3.5 features.

Mean ROM for Rooted HTC Evo 4G LTE! [Overclock/Underclock]

I swore to myself last week that I would never go back to a Sense-based ROM but after trying the latest version of Mean ROM, I am convinced there’s still hope. The Mean ICS ROM is very stock-like yet gives you a performance boost over the stock ROM that you will actually notice.

Notably, the Mean ROM comes with 1.7Ghz overclocking when your screen is on with full dual-cores. And when your screen is off, it automatically runs on just 1-core underclocked. Now, this is a great combination for most users to get the most performance out of your Evo 4G LTE while saving bat

MokeeOS Gingerbread ROM for HTC Evo 4G!

For those of you who want to taste something different on your HTC Evo 4G, definitely give the MokeeOS gingerbread ROM for this week. Coming with supposed Android 2.3.7, this is a ported version of Mokee operating system (I think from a GPS or Chinese Android smartphones), very interesting indeed.

Also, 4G WiMax works out of the box and most things are working so you can use it as daily driver.

Anorexia ICS ROM for Rooted HTC Evo 3D! [Sprint]

For this week, check out the Anorexia ICS ROM for those of you with a rooted Sprint HTC Evo 3D. Built by XDA user ognimnella, the Anorexia ICS ROM does feature a full-featured AOSP (Android Open Source Project) ROM with 4G WiMAX working.

Only issues? I’ve had some trouble with Bluetooth sound and camcorder, but otherwise this ROM is very nice.

If you don’t mind some of those issues and want to run a pure Google OS (instead of Sense), definitely give this ROM a go and let me know what you think!

CM10 Jelly Bean ROM for HTC Evo 3D GSM!

For those of you who want to experience CM10 Jelly Bean ROM on your HTC Evo 3D GSM, check out the CM10 by XDA user agrabren. While HTC may never release official Jelly Bean for the GSM Evo 3D (although we hope they did something about it), you can still enjoy the benefits of Jelly Beans with this ROM.

Of course, there are some bugs like Netflix not working and you will not be able to use 3D camera (regular camera/camcorder works fine), if you don’t mind those things this CM10 ROM still can be a great daily driver. At the worst, you can try it out to get the feel for J

MIUI ICS ROM for HTC Evo 3D! [GSM/Sprint]

For this week, check out MIUI ICS ROM for both GSM and Sprint HTC Evo 3D. I’ve been extensively testing a bunch of new CM10 ROMs but it seems like they are still very beta for the Evo 3Ds and I don’t recommend them as daily drivers.

However, the MIUI ICS ROMs are nearly flawless, you can use them as daily drivers. For the Sprint version, you will lose 3D camera and 4G WiMax though, not a HUGE deal break unless you use 3D camera all the time and live in 4G WiMax area.
